1. How big is the Kitchen Sink sundae?
The Kitchen Sink is built for parties of four or more, with about one pound of ice cream per person. You pick the flavors, and we pile them high with bananas, homemade whipped cream, mixed nuts, cherries, and our housemade chocolate syrup, marshmallow, pineapple, cherry-pineapple, & strawberry toppings — then crown the whole thing with American flags and lit sparklers. The siren goes off when it leaves the kitchen.
2. Do you take reservations?
Jaxson's is first-come, first-served. For groups of 10 or more, give us a call ahead of time and we'll do our best to seat you together. The Kitchen Sink itself doesn't require a reservation, just a party of at least four.
3. Do you have vegan, dairy-free, or sugar-free ice cream?
Yes, every day. Alongside our 50+ classic flavors, we make vegan ice cream, dairy-free sorbets, sugar-free options, and reduced-fat selections in-house. The flavor lineup rotates, so the easiest way to see what's churning today is our Ice Cream Flavors page or to ask your server.
4. Is Jaxson's good for kids and big groups?
It's one of the most kid-friendly spots in Broward County. We have a dedicated Jaxson's for Juniors Menu, high chairs, dining rooms full of vintage memorabilia kids love to wander through, and a country store packed with penny candy and nostalgic toys on the way out. Big groups are very welcome, the Kitchen Sink is genuinely more fun the more people you bring.
5. Where is Jaxson's, and is there parking?
We're at 128 S. Federal Highway in Dania Beach, FL about 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) and just off I-95. There's a no fee parking lot on-site.
6. What are your hours?
Open seven days a week. Sunday through Thursday: 11:30 AM – 11:00 PM. Friday and Saturday: 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM. We serve our full lunch, dinner, and ice cream menu the entire time we're open including food & late-night sundaes.
