Jaxson’s was founded by Monroe Udell in 1956 and has been a South Florida landmark ever since. Monroe’s infectious personality and uncompromising dedication to quality and service made Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlour & Restaurant nationally recognized and locally-embraced.
We still make our ice cream the old-fashioned way, using the best ingredients available. All 50+ ice cream flavors and toppings, even soft drink syrups, are made daily at our Dania Beach location. And our food— everything from juicy hamburgers and hot dogs to phenomenal corned beef and pastrami sandwiches—receives the same care and attention as the ice cream.
Today, Jaxson’s remains a family-owned business under the ownership of Monroe’s daughter, Linda Udell Zakheim. The restaurant is a treasure trove of Americana (especially the license plate collection!). Stop in for a visit—you’ll be happy you did!
